4th Grade

Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Norma Goodman and I am proud to call myself a Catholic School Teacher! This will be my 31st year of teaching – all here at SFdA. I am equally as proud and thankful to have attended this school for 8 years as a child. In my heart, I always knew I would come back someday to fulfill my dream of teaching. My 2 children also attended and graduated from SFdA, another dream come true.

My first teaching assignment was in 4th grade, since then I have taught every grade level except Pre-School and 5th grade. I taught Kindergarten for 12 years (my degree was Early Childhood Education) and one day I decided it was time to “grow up” and return to where I began – in 4th grade. This is where I have spent the last 10 years of my teaching career. It truly was a blessing to have taught so many grade levels. As long as I’ve been here, it has always been a special treat teaching the children of my former students.

The one thing I love most about our school is that we can incorporate our Catholic faith and beliefs into every aspect of our curriculum.
