Happy Sunday!

This year Advent is rather short. We have just finished the first week of Advent and yet Christmas is two weeks away. This year the 4th Sunday of Advent is December 24th. This means that we will have our regular Sunday schedule and then our Christmas schedule beginning Sunday evening. We are required to attend a Mass on Saturday night or Sunday morning (for our Sunday obligation), and then one of the Masses for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day as well (for our Christmas obligation).

This Friday we host our Lessons and Carols concert at Nativity to benefit it's restoration. I am very grateful to the Sedona Red Rocks choir for volunteering their time and talents to support us. If you are not able to make the concert but still wish to support the restoration, donations can be made online through our parish website.

Last weekend we rolled out our new online giving platform, Pushpay. We are very excited about having a more streamlined online giving experience. Thank you to all of you who have started utilizing this new platform for your recurring gifts, it is a huge help to the parish to stabilize our income and plan for the future. Este año el Adviento es bastante corto. Acabamos de terminar la primera semana de Adviento y aún faltan dos semanas para Navidad. Este año el cuarto domingo de Adviento es el 24 de diciembre. Esto significa que tendremos nuestro horario regular de domingo y luego nuestro horario de Navidad a partir del domingo por la noche. Estamos obligados a asistir a una Misa el sábado por la noche o el domingo por la mañana (para nuestra obligación dominical), y luego también a una de las Misas de Nochebuena o Navidad (para nuestra obligación navideña).

Este viernes organizamos nuestro concierto de “A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols” en beneficio de su restauración. Estoy muy agradecido con el coro de Sedona Red Rocks por ofrecer su tiempo y talento para apoyarnos. Si no puede asistir al concierto pero aún desea apoyar la restauración, puede hacer donaciones en línea a través del sitio web de nuestra parroquia.

El fin de semana pasado lanzamos nuestra nueva plataforma de donaciones en línea, Pushpay. Estamos muy entusiasmados de tener una experiencia de donación en línea más optimizada. Gracias a todos los que han comenzado a utilizar esta nueva plataforma para sus donaciones recurrentes. Es de gran ayuda para la parroquia estabilizar nuestros ingresos y planificar el futuro.
