Happy Sunday,

This weekend we are very glad to welcome Fr. Adam Potter from the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Fr. Potter will be preaching all the English Masses this weekend in preparation for our Lenten Mission which he will lead from Monday to Wednesday. The theme for the mission is “Streams of Living Water”. There will be identical morning and evening sessions each day. The morning sessions will begin at 9am in the Church and the evening sessions will be at 6:30pm, also in the Church. We hope you can join us for any or all of the sessions!

I hope everyone will be able to mark their calendars this year to join in our mini Flagstaff Pilgrimage on Holy Thursday night. As I mentioned last week, we will have altars of repose set up at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel and Nativity Chapel this year. This is a beautiful and solemn way to help us enter into these holy days. There will also be confession available at each site, including the Newman Center.

Este fin de semana estamos muy contentos de darle la bienvenida al Padre Adam Potter de la Diócesis de Pittsburgh. Padre Potter predicará todas las Misas en inglés este fin de semana en preparación para nuestra Misión de Cuaresma que dirigirá de lunes a miércoles. El tema de la misión es “Arroyos de agua viva”. Habrá sesiones idénticas por la mañana y por la tarde todos los días. Las sesiones de la mañana comenzarán a las 9a.m. en la Iglesia y las sesiones de la tarde serán a las 6:30p.m, también en la Iglesia. ¡Esperamos que pueda unirse a nosotros en cualquiera o todas las sesiones!

Espero que todos puedan marcar sus calendarios este año para unirse a nuestra mini peregrinación a Flagstaff la noche del Jueves Santo. Como mencioné la semana pasada, este año tendremos altares de reposo en la Capilla de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y en la Capilla de la Natividad. Esta es una manera hermosa y solemne de ayudarnos a entrar en estos días santos. También habrá confesiones disponibles en cada sitio, incluido el Centro Newman.
