Happy Sunday!

A very happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers in our community. We are so blessed by the gift of motherhood in life. I hope it's a relaxing day filled with gratitude for all of you!

We are very excited that Vacation Bible School is quickly approaching! Each year we have about 100 children attend, with many teens helping lead the week. If you have school age children or grandchildren we hope to see them there. If you’ve ever wanted to support the youth of the parish in their journey of faith this is a great way to help.

A donation of $50 will provide a scholarship to a child in need to attend VBS. One of the greatest needs for VBS is to purchase supplies for all those attending. If you are able to offer any other monetary gift, it will help us cut costs and be able to put on a great week for the kids!

I mentioned last week that Beth Davis will be offering a retreat for women of the parish on June 8. This is a great opportunity for women of the parish to take a day and be with the Lord and be rejuvenated in your faith. We hope you can join us.

Registrations continue for our parish pilgrimage to Italy in October. If you are interested in going but have not contacted Ryan Appleberry yet please do so. His information can be found on the flyers in the narthex. You can also call the parish office to get that information.

¡Feliz Día de la Madre para todas las madres de nuestra comunidad! Estamos muy bendecidos por el regalo de la maternidad en la vida. ¡Espero que sea un día relajante y lleno de gratitud para todos ustedes!

¡Estamos muy emocionados de que la Vacation Bible School se acerque rápidamente! Cada año asistimos alrededor de 100 niños y muchos adolescentes ayudan a dirigir la semana. Si tienes hijos en edad escolar o nietos esperamos verlos allí. Si alguna vez ha querido apoyar a los jóvenes de la parroquia en su camino de fe, esta es una excelente manera de ayudar. Una donación de $50 proporcionará una beca a un niño necesitado para asistir a Vacation Bible School. Una de las mayores necesidades de Vacation Bible School es comprar suministros para todos los asistentes. Si puede ofrecer algún otro obsequio monetario, nos ayudará a reducir costos y poder organizar una gran semana para los niños.

Mencioné la semana pasada que Beth Davis ofrecerá un retiro para mujeres de la parroquia el 8 de junio. Esta es una gran oportunidad para que las mujeres de la parroquia se tomen un día y estén con el Señor y rejuvenezcan en su fe. Esperamos que pueda unirse a nosotros.
