Happy Sunday!

We had a great week this past week with all the children present for Vacation Bible School. Thank you so much to all of our volunteers who helped to make this such a great week. As I mentioned last week in my letter, I would like to invite everyone to participate in the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary beginning on August 6. The consecration is 33 days and involves various prayers each day. It will finish on September 8th, the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

This is a wonderful opportunity to pray as a family in a particular way to be united more closely to Jesus through Mary. There are a number of different consecration methods and I would encourage you to fit one that might fit you and your family well. You might check out St. Louis de Montfort’s “Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary” or Fr. Michael Gaitley’s “33 Days to Morning Glory”. I hope everyone will participate!

Please keep our new parochial vicar, Fr. Michael Gilbert, in your prayers as prepares to begin his time here on July 1. I hope everyone is having a restful and prayer filled summer. Know of my prayers for each of you!
