Jubilee Year of St. Francis on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of his death

Inaugurated on January 10, 2026 and will conclude on January 10, 2027

Conditions for Receiving the Indulgence (for oneself or for a deceased person):

• Sacramental Confession (8 days before or after praying the required prayers below)
• Participation in Mass and reception of Holy Communion
• With detachment from all sin, to visit SFdA's main church and here recite the Creed to reaffirm your Christian identity
• To pray one Our Father to reaffirm your dignity as a child of God, which you received in Baptism
• Pray these simple invocations:
  • Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
  • Saint Francis of Assisi, pray for us!
    Saint Clare of Assisi, pray for us!
  • All Saints of the Franciscan Order, pray for us!
• Pray for the intentions of Pope Leo XIV to reaffirm your belonging to the Church (one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be)

Please note: You can receive a plenary indulgence once per day, provided that the specific conditions are met. A single confession can cover multiple indulgences, but each requires separate Holy Communion and prayers.
