Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel 2026 Centennial Celebration
We look forward to celebrating the first inaugural Mass of Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel on Saturday, December 12, 2026. This sacred celebration marks the exact historic 100-year anniversary of the very first Mass held at the Chapel in 1926.
Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe Procession

The Feast Day procession is a public pilgrimage honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, giving gratitude for the blessings of the past century, and praying for her continued guidance for generations to come.
The evening will begin with Guadalupanas and parishioners gathering at the Chapel to prepare for the procession. We will have an opening ceremony featuring a ceremonial dance by the Danza Matachines of San Francisco de Asis and live music.

- Stop at Flagstaff Fire Station 2, 1701 E Ponderosa Parkway The procession pauses at Flagstaff Fire for refreshments and another dance performance by Danza Matachines of San Francisco de Asis
- Walk up the hill to San Francisco de Asis Parish Parishioners walk up the hill to San Francisco de Asis Parish
- Reenactment of Juan Diego’s encounter with Our Lady of Guadalupe The evening culminates with a reenactment of Saint Juan Diego’s encounter with Our Lady of Guadalupe, beautifully recreating the miracle at Tepeyac, Mexico.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Feast Day Inaugural First Mass and Luncheon Reception

Join us for a special celebration of the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe as we commemorate the first inaugural Mass held in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel.
Together, we will honor the founding families and descendants who built this sacred place and celebrate a century of Catholic worship. We are also proud to welcome and induct a record number of women into the Sociedad de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe and continue a tradition of faith, service and devotion for future generations.
